Other Holiday: Second Saturday of month and gazzetted holidays of U.P.Government.
Other Activities: Library time to time organized different activities as Lecture,Conference, Seminar, Discussion etc.    

Library Administration:

The Government Public Library, Allahabad also known as Allahabad Public Library is under the administrative control of the Higher Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. By the government vides notification No. 623/15-14-95-45(52)/79 dated 06 April 1995 Honorable Governor has constituted a Management Committee.
